Smile Chrome front install - updated w/pix

Took the plunge and went ahead and replaced the front sliders and cow bells in chrome. Thanks to the tips here and the photo's dawg was kind enough to e mail, all went smooth. I also added Progressive suspension stock height springs and switched to Screamin Eagle HD fluid. Nice improvement in ride and handling. About 4 hours start to finish with an extra pair of hands to reinstall the fender carefully. Probably the biggest concern was not scratching the fender and pulling the OE lower studs out to accommodate the flush mount lower block by Fat Baggers Inc. Thanks to Powdercoater for the assistance in getting the studs out with his stud puller. I also took the time to add a pair of polished rotors I piked up off e bay, a couple of caliper bolt covers and the chrome caliper screens ala HD.

Here are a few photos as promised.

I will get some photos taken by the weekend and get them posted. I didn't think there would be much interest in seeing another setup, but I did forget to mention that I added some polished stock rotors that may be a good idea to post so folks that have considered this move would have something to look at. Polished stock rotors seem pretty hard to come by at this point.

I polished my rotors at the same time I chromed out the front end, made a big difference I thought.

That looks great. Do you get those bolt covers at HD? Or do you know if you can just get chrome bolts?

Thanks

can you rate this job from a 1-10 of difficulty. I like to believe I am technically inclined! Also those pics on install would be great I just set-up a date with a chromer to have mine done.
