I put a oil cooler on and the bike feels like it is running hoter. Do I need to put more oil in.
Or why is it running so hot? 2001 roadking classic.

how much oil are you running in it? Baker makes a +1 oil pan, not sure if they have one for a 2001 scoot. Supposed to help with some heat. Synth oil helps some too.

you will need to put in more oil when you install a cooler.
Start by adding 1/2 qt. above what you used to put in without the cooler, run the bike and then check the oil. You may need to add a touch more depending on the cooler and length of hoses.

Thanks Iwill add the extra oil. do you know if the engine is running can i check the oil level
