I knew when I bought my Harley that I would ride it as much as I could which meant at that time I would ride it basically on weekends, errands, and short tours. I am now riding to work as often as I can. I want to ride when ever I can, I got it bad. Riding makes traveling from place to place enjoyable no matter where you are going. Usually if the wife ask me to go get something I quickly calculate if I can carry it on my bike and if I can she says, "are you coming straight back?" Yes, but I am not going straight there... : )

I travel overseas or out of state half the time for work, still able to get min 10 k miles per year. The wife is happy I enjoy it.

 

Wife expects that I'll take nightly rides with or without and is glad that I do it. She always jokes with me at work when she calls and says she still sees the car in the driveway, esp. when it's raining. I do love the no straight there angle. I can get a few uses out of that one before she covers that base....LOL

 

Ride when every I can, Kids think I am nuts when it is 80 / 90 degrees out and I tell they should ware Jeans so I can take them to their friends house on the Bike. Keep the boots in top notch shape so I can where them to work every day. Only happy when I am on the bike...... Yea I know it is sad.....
