hey get this colmeg, i have rineharts on my 08 streetglide, dig the rineharts, but wanted fishtails that don't squeeze the sound into that buick whistle sort of sound. harley had the three inch tips for the screamin eagle mufflers, got ta thinking........took off the aluminum rinehart tips, slid in the fishtails, yeow, perfect fit. lookin way too cool. all the black rinehart tips do is to retain the back end of the baffle. if you have access to a lathe, you can turn them down to accept the fishtails, drill and tap the holes for the screws, rineharts have four holes, fishtips , three. no biggie there. still sounds cool, but looks swingin cool now too.

 

sorry to do two replies, but there are several styles of the screamin eagle tips, remember don't get the ones for the four inch mufflers. they're too big for the rineharts

I really think the Eastern Performance Cycles Afterburner End Caps give you better performance, $129.95 410-451-5181 or on E-Bay for description. I got better MPG also but am able to cruize better in 6th gear.
