I use the regular old HD "B" lifters or if I can grab something like Gatermans off ebay or another small block Chevy lifter from another generic company. Johnson Hy-lift are supposed to be good.

Speaking of lifters...
What's the typical life span of a set of lifters?

I have about 16k miles on my Feuling HP lifters...the cheap ones.
$119 for the set.

Anyway, over the weekend I noticed a noise which in my opinion, sounded like a lifter.
A very mild rattle.
