Damn that radio install looks like ****, sorry, I know that Dragonfly is not a cheap fairing. That would make me want to return it just for that reason.

We bought one from Sturgis for a Heritage classic from Tsukayu $1400.00 the radio skipped and the spot lights and handle bars rubbed the paint off the fairing on the way back to Reno. They did not want to refund the money or respond back to me even though they installed it.

One call to Discover Card took care of that issue. If you are not happy send it back.
Good Luck..

I send it back straight away, but thats me. Thats way too much money to not get what you ecpedcted and then get crappy service after the sale. +1 for Dead Center too, I have had nothing but good support from them before, during and 2 years after the sale.

All I can say is hit up Firecap on the touring fourm. He has his own fairing vendor and is alot higher quality than dragonfly. Firecap had a dragonfly noticed the flaws and now offers a far more superior product with higher quality audio system. I'm waiting on mine to come in any day now. Plus he is a small business owner who takes care of his customers like you wanna be treated. He understands how much a hard earned buck is worth. Best customer service I've ever received.

For what those things cost, you should be happy with your purchase. It doesn't sound to me like you got your money's worth. I'd be sending it back and pushing hard for 100% refund or an immediate replacement. Duct tape on the radio? That's something you'd see on a product somebody put together in their garage...not on something you spent a house payment on.
I'm sure they get a lot of business from this forum. If they don't make it right for you, let us know and we'll start pounding them with e-mails demanding they make it right!
