I was holding off buying the Harley air pump for my shocks. I was in Walmart the other night and found a small hand air pump with a gauge. Bell makes it. It has a small hose and gauge. Best of all it was $17.00. It is very small and takes up hardly any room in the saddlebag. I used it yesterday and it works perfect. I looked on Bell's website to get a picture, but could not find it. But if you goto Walmart they make 2. One has a gauge and the other does not. Beats paying $50.00 for the Harley pump.
You can also pick up an inexpensive hand pump at any boating supply store. They are used to put air into boat bumpers so just about any boat supply will have them. I think they are branded for Taylor Bumpers. Don't spend big dollars guys, these are around and rather inexpensive. $10 or less.
I use a basketball pump that only cost a couple of bucks. The problem is it's hard to disconnect the pump without losing air. I'm not sure but I think the Harley pump probably has some kind of fast disconnect on it.

This one has a gauge and quick disconnect on it. Well worth the extra $7.00
