yep. my bike is an 08 and has the exact issue discussed in these threads. So does my 12.

by posting in the actual thread it ends up in the 'my posts' list which makes it easier to locate when/if I need the info again.

earlier in this thread someone showed the failing part, and your second link is that same failing part?

I would never use that part, but some people may want to keep using the "stock" or OEM setup.

 

People would want to replace 1 failed part with another part that will likely fail?
