I noticed today that my bracket is broken on the right side of my 08' RG that mounts the pipes to the engine. It broke on the thinnest part of the bolt hole. Anybody ever seen this before? What is the risk of damage by running it til I get another? Thanks, T.

 

Are you talking about the flange? Is it leaking now? If it wasn't leaking not sure if I would mess with it. Quite a bit of work to get the flange off with the pipes on the bike.

 

This is my secong one and they keep breaking. They send me new ones but they just break. Guess im going to have to make something that will hold up.

 

I've never heard of an exhaust flange breaking. Which part of the flange broke?

 

Are you talking about the bracket that goes from the pipe to the trans/engine sort of midway along the length of the pipe?
