Default Dumb Question
With all of the covers you can buy that encloses the tranny and engine, is there a risk that more heat will be kept rather than being dispersed with fresh air?

No way the covers could trap enough heat to cause a problem.

Dumb answer just take all the covers off and air cool everything

trans and engine cases don't disperse that much heat to start with
