I just got done making a deal for a brand new 06 Ultra, Vivid Black, trading in my 95 Ultra. Paid MSRP not a great deal but not a bad deal either. Going to have the dealership put in the BB 95 kit in and screaming eagle pipes, unless someone can convice me to go with v&h pipes Bike arrives at the dealership on thursday and friday i will sign the papers ( salesman i have been working with is off on thursday and he has worked well with me so why screw him) Should be able to get the bike on Wednesday and i hope the rain is no where near on that weekend After i get the bike i will see if i can post some pics. Aint to puter savvy but think i can do it
Congrats on the new bike. You will be happy with the setup you have chosen. Let me know if you have any problems getting your pictures up and I'll give you a hand.
Tried several different pipes on my bike when it was being dynoed and the SE mufflers on stock pipes produced the best peak torque/hp crossing point. Both were about 100 on my bike. We tried Rhinehart true duels, Rhinehart slipons and then SE mufflers. May have just my bike setup but the SE's produced a much better, smoother power curve.
Congrats on the new bike. i have an 06 Ultra and just love the hell out of it. I put Pythons on my bike , they sound great. Pythons are $100.00 cheaper then V&H but are made by V&H. I heard a few bikes with SE pipes but find my Pythons are definately deeper in sound and alot louder. I'm still into loud pipes so that was the selling point for me. Good luck with your new ride.
Congrads on the new bike!! Any remorse in parting with the 95 Ultra?
Im a bit sad to see the 95 go but it has been a great machine for me...hopefully i will get the bike on wednesday, and hopefully the rain will stay away for that weekend
