Default floorboard pads????????

just noticed my floorboard pads on my 07 FLHTC have broken springs/cushions/connectors(?) whatever you call them.i assume you can replace the rubber. is this all one piece _the pad and the connectors underneath? best source/cost for these? easy to replace??

When I installed new rider and passenger skull inserts they were all one piece. If the missing/broken one doesn't bother your ride I would wait to replace it unless it really bothers you.

Yes it is all one piece. Very easy to replace. Just squirt some liquid detergent around the ball that goes through the bottom of the pan and gently pry up. When installing the new ones do the same with the detergent on the rubber *****. Lay the pad in place and use pliers to grab hold of the extra rubber that is attached and gently pull them through the holes in the pan.

You may want to check the classifieds here. Or post a wanted ad. I'm sure you can get a set pretty cheap. Or even free with shipping.

when using pliers, just try to stay away from needlenose, they have a better chance of tearing the rubber. It took me all of about 15minutes to switch mine out to the skull collection pieces

Lotta different styles to choose from.you can match all your pedals the same, even your hand grips can match.got the part numbers from the harley parts book and ended up getting them from chicago harley. For instal I clamped mine down first used some soap and then pulled them through carefully.
