I have the bubble for 3 years now.

I leave it in the garage that is open and closed all winter. It keeps the bike nice and dry.

 

You guys are making me feel like a neglectful owner. My bike is stored in my Dad's shop that is only heated when he works down there even run it is lucky to hit 50. I don't even have a cover anymore. My old one for the Sportster doesn't fit my Road King.

 

Are there any concerns with road salt on car that is parked in the same heated garage as your bike that is covered, (no bubble). Bikes are covered with a breathable cover, floor underneith the bikes have a plastic liner with carpet on top to help prevent moisture coming from the concrete. Garage door is opened on a daily basis. Winter came early this year preventing me from putting them in storage at the HD Dealer.

 

i keep my bike in an unheated garage with both wheels touching the concrete. been doin it that way for years and by god there is no rust, mold, mildew, voided warranty, hatefull glances from the neighbors or hurtfull feelings coming from the bike.

My wife was asking me about the bubble today and what I wanted and why I wanted it. Then about an hour later my dad is calling asking very similar questions, he said I'm buying you somehting for your bike and need to know if it is a touring model or not, what I'm buying you comes in 2 sizes and the big one is for the touring bikes.

Just a guess on my part but its about the only thing I've asked for, specifically for the bike anyway. I don't usually tell others what I want for the bike and have them buy it as gifts. I usually like a gift card or something so I can pick it out and but it myself.
