Default Electrical Help

I have an '04 RK Custom. On the backside of the fork cover are 2 switches. They appear to have 2 black wires hooked to them and a single unused post. What is the proper name for the connector I would use for the single post? I want to hook up some auxilliary front lights using one of these switches. What is the best way to go about this? Do they already have power to them, or do I need to add a fuse to the block to power them? Has anyone else used these for a similar item? Or better yet, is there an unused connector in the headlight nacelle that could be used? Thanks.
