Quote: OK, got my EGS in Black Denim and it was delivered two days ago -- photos will be up this weekend -- it's been in the mid 30's here and I have been riding my fool head off!! Holy cow the touring bike is THE way to go!! I have a grin ear to ear and I'm stoked!! Best bike I have bought period. EGS, Security, ABS, Cruise and Black Denim -- DAMN!
It's too bad that you can't get a little excited about your new bike Steven! Nothing like having a new Harley. Enjoy it. And don' forget the pics, it's what we live for.

Touring bike is the only way to go. The only thing I would consider instead of the Ultra would be a street glide. Do wish I still had the sporty or wideglide for to play on. But they probably would be in the garage most of the time.

Congrats on the new scoot! Awesome color choice too, there's a ton you can do with that black denim.

Quote: Congrats on your new bike! I kept my softail when I bought the Road King because I wasn't sure if I would ride the Touring model much without the wife. Poor softail, it's kind of in retirement now, just waiting for cruise nights, shows and such.

What bike you you previously have?
I had a Heritage Classic softail for a few years -- and I'm with you, amazing difference on that and the touring bikes -- would never go back, I cannot believe the difference. I promise I won't be lame, I'll get pics taken and up tomorrow! Thanks all!

Congratulations on your new ride! Best of luck with it!

I agree with you. The first time on a touring bike is a real eyeopener! Can riding a motorcycle really be this comfotable?!
