Default 09 Street Glide Saddlebag Guard Kit

Question:

Am I missing something? I called a dealer to find out what it would cost to install the black out saddlebag guards, and was quoted a little over 400 bucks just for the parts. What? I say....Is it not 179 for the bars, plus 101 for the support, plus 1.50 x2 for the nuts? What am I missing? That's only 280ish in my book.

And the install time was apparently 2 hours total, bringing the total to 550. WOW!

I come up with $400.90 for the parts necessary.

FLHX models require separate purchase of Saddlebag Supports P/N 49194-09, 90781-09 and Nut P/N 7531 (qty 2). FLHX models require separate purchase of Antenna Mounting Bracket P/N 76557-09

76557-09 $18.35 antenna relocation kit
49283-09 $179.95
49194-09 $101.00
90781-09 $101.00
7531 (2) $.60

I have taken them off all my bikes and they are very easy to install & take off. Get the parts at a discount and do it yourself.

I did not have to relocate antenna on my 2009 Street Glide. I'll check my original invoice - I had it included in the purchase. I don't think the parts are that high.

By the way, they are $148.01 at www.surdyke.com instead of $179.95

Looks good. Now you need a black engine guard and black front end
