Default Anybody using gerbing heated socks?

Or the heated insoles.

How do they feel to walk around in?
Does the wire bother you going down into your boot?
Do you use the temp controller?
Would you buy them again?

Thanks for your responses in advance.

I don't use the socks, but have the jacket and pants. Never had a problem with my feet freezing while wearing them. Guess the pants warm the blood in my legs enough to keep my feet thawed. I didn't get the sock because of the same concerns you have. I can't stand foreign object in my shoes.

I got theem. YOu can feel the wires but not so bad that they cause you any problem. If I were riding somewhere and had to do a lot of wlking when I got there, I might take a regular pair along to put on. Do use the controller, but usuall yhave them on high anyway. Would buy again.

Have the complete Gerbings outfit - jacket liner, pants liner, gloves and socks. The last one I would give up is the socks as my feet are always the coldest. The controller is a must have as this stuff will make me sweat if left on high. My feet never get hot, but they never get cold. If I am going to do a lot of walking I bring a pair of regular socks to change into. Pretty sure that Gerbings makes a pair of socks with wires on top of the foot only. Great Stuff!

They no longer make the socks. The new product is insoles.

Are you using the insoles?
My concern with the insoles is the
wire going all the way up inside if my boot.

And the socks are still available.

Thanks for the replies.
