Have you measured them? I thought their bark was louder than that.

And that is exactly what I thought of the Monster Ovals.

(Everyone will have a different opinion about what is loud, too loud or not loud enough.)

I agree on this, as the Dyno Tuned Jackpots were a little too loud for my liking. They seemed to wake the bike up a bit, which is as advertised.

My only issue with the Monster Ovals is that they cost $600 + or -. That is $150 more than even Rineharts, which are not known to be inexpensive. You can get a set of Rush with the baffle and end design of your choice for roughly half of that.

For the money you can't beat the Rush slip-ons. I have the 1.75 baffles. I think they sound awesome.

I guess I just try to listen to a lot of pipes at bike week and ask what they are. It would be nice to really compare how they sound.

Jamie bought a DB meter and told me they were only bit louder than stock. I think he said 1.5db. They are noticeably quieter than the 1.75" baffles I had in the mufflers originally.

V&H Ovals worked for me, great quality finish. Great sound when cruising, but doesn't rattle the neighbors house like my Hookers used to on my other bike.

I wish one of you guys that have the jackpots lived in VA Beach! I would like to hear them, I know they have sound bites on the site but its not the same. If you guys were to compare them to another system/mufflers what is it close to?
