Advice needed
Hope everyone is getting ready,to ride, spring is getting close.last week I had the cam pad tensioner's changed in my 01 FLHT,also installed a aluminum transmission sprocket to take the place of the cast one.Gave a big boost to torque, but when I crank the bike after getting it warm the starter drive, and the sprocket aren't lining up,sound's like the starter drive is getting worn, but it only does it once(so far) hit the button again it fire's up fine, also to anyone in the forum, that is having this coming up with their bike(cam tensioner change) get a price quote before if you can't do it yourself.I didn't, Man that was a punch, and this was the first I've even heard of this problem, but I know now.Anyway what do ya'll think about this starter issue?
