Pc v -
No ride Sat due to the fact some a@@hole broke into my deer camper.....had to go n repair that....and today, Sunday, Im WORKING OT....AGAIN (sounds like funding for an AT in the near future). Did ride the bike to work this am....was having a blast just cruising into work @ 4:30am. It's not very often I can cruise by the police station @ 80 mph.....hehehe. Planning on taking a ride when I get off this eveningl Im not even gonna worry about mileage at this point....just gonna listen to her run!
Thanks to Jamie and Keith....and everyone else here on the forum for the threads / discussion!!!

But....when I got home...was putting the bike in the shop....my 'check engine' light came on....WHY?....I have no idea. I remember seeing a thread where someone had the same problem....Ive searched...to no avail. Can anyone help me?
Im going to check the O2 plugs shortly...just to make sure they're ok. This PC V is a great improvement....just wanna find out what may be causing the light to come on.
Appreciate any help... Thanks

Well.....they way the bike was running this afternoon....I was thinking about the AT to go with it. Matter of fact....I'd planned for today's OT to go for just that. Now, until I figure out what's wrong.....dunno.
I just had the bike serviced last week.....5000 mi service....and my clutch isnt right....maybe it's just that. Going to try and get it in this week....might be Friday before I can though.

Just checking thru the manual, the 'check engine' light is concerned with engine management. Maybe by 'ZEROing' the throttle, it'll satisfy the sensor.....
I'll get that done as soon as daylight comes.

Let us know if you continue to have trouble. Have you attempted to find out what code is being set? You can read the codes with the odometer. Do a search for ECM Codes and find the correct procedure for your year and let us know which code it's throwing.
If the check engine light comes on after startup and then goes out again after a few seconds then the code is historical and will go away after 50 ignition cycles unless you reset it yourself through the odometer. No need to worry over a historical code.
If the light comes on after startup and stays on...this is a current code and requires immediate attention and diagnosis before continuing to ride.
Let us know what you find out.

131- Front O2 sensor LOW,
134 - Front O2 sensor open/not responding,
152 - Rear O2 sensor HIGH.
Im going to recheck the O2 modules...coat with dialectric grease, and call Jamie / Keith and see if I need to remap. Will keep advised.
