chrome switch housing help
I went with the HD Chrome switch housing, and chrome levers for both brake and clutch. They fit perfect, and they have really held up well over the years. Still look great after almost 9 years. Can't ask for more than that from a product. Very pleased. Highly recommend them, especially if they are still mfg by the same producers from the past. Don't really know if that's one of the items outsourced to China now.....
Thanks for all the help every body not sure what I am going to do just yet but Iam sure eBay will be part of it . every dollar you can save these day helps as I'M sure you all know. thanks again
I am asking the same question now, went to my local indy shop and this guy said he would love to sell me parts but this is one item he would have to suggest using HD parts on. Several guys have said they just fit together better especially if you have cruise/radio controls, etc.
Well Glacierpear this is what I went with see pics Just couldn't swing Harley stuff this time would of been about 520.00 through Zanottis and after the winter mods my dear Wife is watching the check book pretty close so I went the cheaper way out Cross your fingers and hope it all works out and looks OK got the housings from American classic for 68.95 the clutch and brake mounts from Motto stuff inc. and the levers from billet custom the chrome heritage bars from local stealer came to around 325. just hope it works out like the looks of the black swithes in all the chrome will try that first
