Ever since I got a look at those black Bassani Road Rage 2 into 1's last week (photo gallery TOPPER), something about those pipes has been hauntingly appealing. Until now the look of 2 in 1's has never appealed to me (pro-pipe, thunderheaders, etc.). I like em' in black and the styling really catches my eye, especially on a black Streetglide. No heat shields but they do have a couple of CLAMPS, I could live with that. Problem is that I really like my current pipes. Sorta like having 2 girlfriends and you just can't make up your mind! No choice but to go with a poll here. Too bad there is not a quick detach system for exhaust, then the decision would be easy. Need Help!
I'll send you a photo of my buddies blacked out street glide. He has the thunderheader with false left side. Awsome set up. Performance is great with both the propipe and thunderheader. I was thinking about doing my Propipe in the black crome.
Hey it's only money! Phil, I think the you would have a wild look with the PP in black chrome. I have actually checked out getting my HK's refinished in black chrome. That is one unique finish, sharper than ceramic, but the ceramic coating helps with heat.
No need for me to vote, as you know what I think[sm=happybounce.gif]
But like I told you before, I bought mine used...............If I was going to order a new set, I would go with the black ones myself. One other thing about the 2 into 1's, once you feel the torque curve, you find yourself keeping the bike in a lower gear, just to keep the motor in the sweet spot
