Riders, I have a parts manual (99456-06A) on order but need to request help with a part number until it arrives. I had a stooopid garage incident and damaged the heat shield adjacent to the right floorboard. The one that’s 14in long and runs horizontal, between the front and rear downward heat shields. Need that part number. If anyone has a used one for sale that would be even better. Thanks for any help.
i would post a "WTB: 06 exhaust Touring Heat Shields" ad, and put will pay $50 shipped,
and you will be SWAMPED. i sold like 5 sets on ebay.
still got mine up in the attic.
FWIW, i would get the heat shields from some one who has the complete front piece to cover the gap.
Thanks 04ctd, that's a very good idea. I need to raise my post count to either 25 or 30 before I can post in the Classified forum but that shouldn't take long.
