Default Slotted windshield trim,

Do you like yours? Is it a pain cleaning bugs out of the slots? Thinking of gettin one, I think it would help seal the gaps between the bolts where the outer fairing meets the windshield

I just got one of the bay for like 19 bucks.. Its not a H/D piece but it looks good. They said it was new but id did have a couple scratches in it but its stainless so i can polish them out... I dont think there are any bugs in it yet ?.... It was a good deal cause ebay canceled the guys first auction cause he said it was for sale locally ? Then it came back with a cheaper buy it now and i was watching for it so i hit the magic button. I really dont think the h/d piece is worth what they get but like i said they are pretty when installed..

I have one that I had powder coated "wet black" that matches the vivid black paint nicely. I thought about the bugs when I first put it on but haven't thought about it once since. Not any harder to deal with than the nooks and cranny's around the headlamp. I say go for it...

I have the HD slotted one and I like it better than the solid one I had on the 03 Ultra, I think it looks better.

I have the HD chrome slotted one. I think it dresses it up nice, and it's not all that hard to get any splatterings out when cleaning.

Looks good and cover the transition from fairing to windshield.

Relative to bugs cleaning is just the part of the life of owning a Harley. It is never done

It's the price we pay for nice looking crome, comes with having one on your bike, yes they suck to clean around.
