I to have and TOTALLY support the Frogg Toggs! They are awesome! Lightweight, comfy, and fairly priced. I know Bass Pro shop is having a sale right now on the black set, with the reflective piping. I think they are $39 a set! To good to pass up!

For eyewear I have Panoptx prescription glasses. They seal nicely, keep the wind out and I can read the menu at a restaurant when I stop for food. The lenses are the polarized variety, get darker when it gets brighter, and I wear 'em in the blazing sunshine or the dark of night.

I've got an H-D rainsuit and I've worn it three times. Rode out of Sturgis one year in leathers as a light rain was coming down. It didn't stop so I did. Suited up and it kept me dry. Rained all the way to Denver. One time riding through Custer State Park, what am I saying, EVERY time riding through Custer State Park we got in a pretty heavy rain. I had chaps on and one of my buddies was riding in shorts so I gave him the pants from my rain suit. The puddle of water between my legs on my saddle didn't last long because it kept wicking through my jeans and my drawers. It sucked...but my dear friend had dry shorts!

It sucks being nice sometimes!!!!

Here's a shot of the glasses. I don't think I've ever stopped to take a picture in the rain suit. It's usually raining too freakin' hard!

I wear tje Harley high viz rainsuit have been happy with it. I was hit from behind about 10 years ago and am perhaps a little paranoid. I haven't ridden the SERG in the rain but feel even better with the orange bike. I wear a full face helmet when I'm on the road and like the protection it gives in the rain.

Check out the Firstgear "Rainman" set. I like it because the jacket cinch straps are outside the jacket and easy to adjust, even with gloves. Makes it easy to adjust for wearing over heavy leathers or cinched closer for wearing over a T-Shirt. Excellent quality as well.

It's worth it to spend a few extra dollars for a set that is truely water tight (for the long haul several days worth of rain) versus a cheapo set that wont keep you dry for more then an hour.

My Rain Pants are from a different manufacturer and do have "nomex" panels in the legs to guard against melting.

Don't waste your money on the googles, but any decent raing gear that fits, is okay. Make sure it fits over your jacket, leathers etc.

One thing I'd look for is a set that has the heat shield on the right leg! (don't ask how I know!)

I am looking for new rain gear myself. I agree with the others to MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE HEAT SHIELD on the right side. Once again last June I melted another rain suit on my V&H pipe when I leaned into the bike. First time was back in 1998 on My Bad Boy and last year on my Heritage. Guess I'll never learn. Just got done putting a new lower V&H muffler pipe on because it looked so bad and would not rub out. I have been seriously looking at Harley's new GORTEX rain suit although they are very expensive. I have a Orange and black harley suit now that keeps me dry from the rain but you sweat like a pig in it. I always wait until the last minute to put it one and take it off the first chance I get. A nice GORTEX suit breathes so you dont sweat so bad which is why I'm looking at them.
