Default Rain Gear

I'm looking for some rain gear. 20 years riding and I've never owned any. I either find a tree or ride wet.

Here's my question: I'd like some decent goggles because the biggest problem is seeing when I ride in the rain. the biggest problem is having rain get on the inside of my glasses, and I'd like something where that wouldn't be a problem

The second thing is I'd like cheap and lightweight rain gear. I could spend some dough on expensive gear that I'd keep forever, but not all that interested because rain hasn't really stopped me yet. I'll probably only wear it when its colder. Summer rain I don't care that much about.

Love to hear what you guys use...

I wear the Hi-Viz, bright orange reflective HD rainsuit. Riding in the rain doesn't bother me either...but it's hard enough for cagers to see you when it's sunny. I probably look like a dork in bright orange when I wear it, but I want to make sure others have the best chance at seeing me.

ETA: I don't wear googles. I wear CURV sunglasses/nightglasses, think I got them at Harley or another bike shop. They fit me very well, and I don't have a problem with rainwater coming between me and them when I ride in the rain.

I bought two sets of Frogg Toggs for my wife and I and they cost $105 for both sets. We put them on and rode 2hrs in the rain from MS and they were great. They are breathable so you don't get condensation inside the suit and end up all wet anyway, light weight so you can still move around and they can be worn in summer of winter with warm clothing, and they have a thin reflective stripe so you can be seen better at night. They have more expensive suits, one or two piece and winter suits as well. But what we bought was great for what I wanted. Look into them Name brand Frogg Toggs.

I also used the Frogg Toggs for the last 2 years and they worked great, just picked up a really good set for my wife and I off of e-bay. I gave my Frogg Toggs to a buddy of mine that just started riding.

I wear glasses too and it is a big problem in the rain.only good option ive found is a good helment but i wont wear a full face.i went with a nolan open face with intergrated facesheild and it works well, the other option would be a 3/4 with a snap on facesheild ( had to drill and screw on 2 snaps) but it would let some rain in on my glasses in heavy rain or wind.

Bought a set of Nelson Rigg online. Reasonable cost, worked great. Kept me dry for six continuous hours coming back from Daytona.
