Default side covers

Has anyone tried a 08 and below left side cover on a 09? I put Bub true duals on my 09 FLHX and there is very little clearence for the left side cover. It will be a bear to get it off to replace a fuse.

There's very little clearance on mine also! And it's an 08. I had to fuss a bit with the head pipe to get as much clearance as possible to keep it off the side cover and keep the pipe from hitting the primary. I haven't seen what the Bub 7's look like or mount up like on an 09 though......so I might just be talking out my a$$!

I have an '09 Ultra with BUB 7's and yes, the clearance is a bit tight...See the pic linked below:

I had Rineharts on my 08 roadking and had plenty of room. The 08's had a concave side cover that helped a bunch. I wonder if the left cover pin placement is the same on the different frames.
