Have an 08 Streetglide or an 09 ElectroGlide standard? I'm torn and only really have the money for either or. I really like the looks of the Streetglide, but I know that the '09s have made some significant improvements. So give me your opinions.
If I had to go with one or the other, I would go with the 09 EGS. The suspension improvements and wider rear tire for better contact with the road are reason enough, IMO.
If the $ for each is relatively the same where you live, it would be a no-brainer.
The EGS is easier to bring up to a UC level down the road (my opinion), should you choose to do so.
Additionally, the 09 will be 'new' from a warranty standpoint
I have an 08 UC - I have ridden an 09 SG. The feel and handling of the 09 suspension is a huge improvement and would be well worth buying an 09. Good luck!
