Default 4 Point Docking Question

I have a 2009 RKC and am trying to decide whether or not to get the 2 or 4 point docking kit for my bike. FYI, my main reason for getting it is to pop on an upright and pad when needed for a passenger/

I don't really have a need to add the extras afforded by the 4 point unit (at least not now), but for $40 more, maybe it would be best to get it just in case?

For those who have the 4 point unit, do you think it looks bad on the scoot when nothing is attached to it? I was thinking the 2 point unit might look a bit more "stealth", and less obvious when installed.

I have the 4 point on my RG. It's pretty slick and looks decent. Spend the extra $40. You'll be glad ya did

I've got a 4pt on my SG. I think it look just fine. I've got the chrome caps on it also. Not the best pic, but this is with the caps on, and a sundowner seat.

Here is what it looks like. I also have the chrome caps on mine. I think it looks just fine on the bike. The caps make a big difference.

I am planning on going a different direction and will be selling the 4 point in the next week if you are interested. I will let it go for $100.00 shipped. It will not include the caps though.

I think the 4 point does look fine with a seat that has a decent size passenger area such as the ones pictured in this thread.

Does anyone have a shot of a 4 point kit with a C&C Fastback seat? I know this might be a stretch to find a photo, but that is the seat that will be going on my King in the next couple of weeks and would love to see the kit with a more narrow passenger sitting area extending onto the rear.

Thanks for the opinions and photos so far!

Get the 4 point. You'll be glad you did. You'll need the luggage rack sooner or later, and the backrest when two up...

Got the 4 point system and I wasn't happy untill I got the Chrome Covers. Without it the dockng points look like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.

BTW I only needed the two point but I'm thinking towards the future.

I did the 4-point as well. I agree with other comments here in thinking about the future.

I got the 4 point but I actually wish that I had gotten the 2 point instead. I don't like the rack that is designed for the 09 and really wish they would come out with some different racks for it... So for now the rear two just sit there unused
