Welcome to the forum. Definetly hide the checkbook and the credit cards. I have an 05 Standard, that is now, not so standard anymore.; Love the bike, can't stop customizing though..not a bad thing...ride safe

I just saw my first one of these the other day at the local HD shop. I was really impressed with the look of the flat black FLHT. You got a gorgeous bike. That "blank canvas" will cost you big bucks though as you start to add stuff to it.

So far I've been very lucky. My OL has really gotten into riding with me and spending pesos on shiny and/or black things

Yikes! I know....I like the blacked-out look - but that look seems to be waaaay popular. I have the word "ironic" in mind with what I want to do in customizations. Black and chrome...Shiny and dark....Offsetting tones. We shall see.

To answer the questions that I remember:

The radio:Just the stock HD radio. I'll get a pic up ASAP. Inside of my fairing doesn't look much different than what an SG or Ultra's does - except I'm minus two gauges.
