Can anyone help me with an ECM question? I recently bought a 09 FLHTCU and had the SE stage 1 AC and V&H monster ovals installed. The stealer also charged me for the HD flash to retune the ECM but when I picked up the bike I received the SERT still in an unopened box. The stealer swears that the flash was completed and told me to bring the bike in to make sure it took. Is there some way I can hook up to my lap top and check myself?
You need the SERT software and the cable (DONGLE) that hooks it up to your bike for starter. When you open the program you san "get ECM info, then you can check the calibration number and go from there. But if the box isn't opened, they didn't do it, unless they gave you a Harley download instead.
I was under the impression that you couldn't get the cd or cables anymore...at least that is what my HD parts guy told me. I've got an 08 that I would love to be able to hook up and see what was done...and if there is a way to reset the ECM back to factory standards....

I dont think you can set the ECM back to factory unless you have the factory settings saved. Beer2go, I smell something funny and it stinks about you getting your SERT in a sealed box. That tells me they gave you a canned download and didnt do a dyno tuning at all at best. Your ECM may still have factory tune. JMHO
