So I find out by talking with the previous owner of my King that here is a SERT installed. The problem is since I've owned the bike I have have made major changes like cams, exhaust and air cleaner. Unfortunately I do not have the SERT so I cannot change the program. Any way to return the ECM to stock so I can load a custom MAP with my PCIII?
Without the dongle, you're out of luck. The dealer can return to stock. But, like Dawg said, would try and locate the SERT dongle - it's useless to anyone else.
The SERT, it can tune any engine you may want to build in the future. It also has the ability to read the knock sensor on the motor, making high compression builds easier to tune for no ping. The PCIII has a limited range of timing adjustment.
