Do any of these units (other than the motorcycle specific ones) allow for the directions to go to your bluetooth headset?

I also recommend the Garmin Zumo. I have the 550 and it came in very handy on a recent long bike trip for finding hotels, sites, etc. Also, the fact that it is waterproof came in handy several times when we were riding through the rain. Didn't have to stop and remove it. It came with both mounts, bike and car.

I just installed the Zumo 660. Over priced but a very nice unit.

Garmin Zumo. Best choice possible. RamMount for handlebar mounting will be included.

I have the Zumo 550, had it a while now. Pouring rain - no problem. Leave turned on and hard-wired to the battery for two days - no problem (GPS or my battery). (Don't ask how I know about leaving it turned on).

Absolutely USB & computer friendly for downloading routes and points of interest.

The Zumo would work best if you want to optimize it for the MC and also use it in the car. The kit comes with a car mount setup. The 660 is wider than the 450/550. A cheaper Garmin would work if you want it more for the car.

Default Garmin 2720

I have a Garmin 2720. It is waterproof and works great on my bike. They are not as big as the Zumos, but are a fraction of the cost on eBay. They are touch screen. Great on roadtrips.

The Garmin 550 and 660 have Bluetooth, these units are for both car and bike. Any GPS with Bluetooth should work with a Bluetooth helmet. Note I said "should" because not all Bluetooth devices are compatable with one another. Check your helmet manuals or call the company before you buy. Might save you some $$$ and a head ach.

Here's what I did... Works fine... I have an extra mount and it also is used in the car. Although it is on, I really only use the GPS for short time periods in the car, so I haven't wired mine. I think the internal battery lasts like 3 hours. I made a safety line from monofilament fishing line in case the suction cup should pop (it hasn't)... Anyway, works for me, about 3,000 miles on the set-up
Oh, its a Garmin Nuvi 200W - cheap too...
