I can feel it a little bit with my hands on the bars but if I take my hands off or just 1 hand on the bars it shakes like hell
Any ideas
I had it to the dealer last year and they said the neck berings were fine it was doing it @ slower speeds
It went away for a while but it is back
Thanks for your help
Tough question with out the bike in front as it could be a heap of things causing this problem wheel aliment, steering head bearings lose , wheel spaces on the wrong side, worn wheel bearings, Forks and axle not torqued to specs, warped or bent wheel, Engine in frame aliment, under inflated or out of round Tyre . Start with the easy one and work through them
Good luck
I have an '05 Roadglide and had the same problem after replacing the rear tire. Ended up replacing the front tire and tightening the bearing. As I was dealing with the problem, someone posted a suggestion belt tension might be off in addition to the other posts here. Good luck. Mine is fine now.
1st check your front tyre for pressure and or condition then it could be your steering bearing as these do work themselves loose .
I cant off hand remember but this is a major concern on the Vmax its what we call the Wobble of Death . To tight and it gives you a low speed (20-30) weave and to tight and it will give you a 40-50 mph shake . Its sounds like what you have experienced , sort of like the front end is gonna fall to bits .
You might want to check it by what its torqued at to .
