Agree with 3Deffect. Great color choice! You will definitely enjoy that bike. Nothing on the market has what the Ultra has. Conngrats. Ride safe.

Welcome from the Great State of Texas.

Just got my new 09 FLHX Street Glide Friday night. Traded up from a 08 Street Bob.

Congrats! I moved from a Kawasaki Voyager to Ultra. Best move I've ever made. This forum will help you in many different ways, but most of all you WILL spend money because of it.

Welcome from San Antonio (again), you now have about 1 million new friends. About 95 thousand hang out on this forum and will convince you to spend loads of cash on your new ride. Enjoy

Congrats on your new ride. I came from a Yamaha Roadstar Silverado to the Ultra Classic and couldn't be happier. It will be Harleys from now on for me.

I had the opportunity to switch rides with a friend from work who has a venture. The gear noise was incredible. After about 15 miles i was ready for my ultra back.

You will enjoy it. I came from other bikes and am now on my 3rd Harley and 2nd Ultra. The '09s have straight cut gears in 1st and 5th.......so they whine a little. I haven't tried it yet, but some say that a change in transmission lub can quiet that down considerably.
