....but honestly, can you make a u-turn?
You can actually get much tighter than 24 feet if you blip the throttle, lift the front end off the ground, pivot your weight while on the wheelie, and flip the front end around. That gives you a very tight u-turn of about two feet! You have to be careful if you're running fishtails though.... don't ask me how I know!
Self solving problem. People that can't ride end up gone one way or another. They're replaced by more people that can't ride, but it's not my problem. Our society spends way too much time enabling stupidity & looking for someone to blame. If you ride stupid I have no problem tellin' you about it & leavin' you to handle it however you choose.
I can see his point with this thread. I have seen a few of my friends (with decked out bikes)as we decide to reverse direction take about a 4 point turn to get their bikes going in the opposite direction while I snap a simple U turn with a passenger on the back. The best way to learn this is go to an empty parking lot and practice. And as posted by many here, their basic problem is they are not looking where they want to go, you look at the edge of the road, the bike goes to the edge of the road.
+1 on that.....I was nervous the first few times but if you swivel your head around to where you want to go, feather the clutch and drag that back brake, the bike will turn without an issue......Ride Like a Pro DVD is a must................
