Exclamation ....but honestly, can you make a u-turn?

I know....you have louder pipes, powder coated this and that, custom painted so-and-so, beefed up horses, tons-0-chrome, fancier such-and-such, the newest thing-a-ma-jig....but can you make a u-turn in less than 24 feet?
Sometimes I get the feeling that there are too many people out there more worried about what they look like than how they ride....and those people scare the bajeezus out of me. Tell the truth when you respond to this post

i agree RLandis. lots more people out here riding with weeks or months of experience. i just give them all the room they need. the ones who are stylin' and profilin' and passing every store front staring at their reflection to see how cool they look, rather than riding their motorcycle. yeah, it's sorta scary. and one of the reasons i tend to ride alone.

Did you just fail a road test? It's not all that difficult.... drag a little rear brake, feather the clutch, and keep your head up (look where you want to go).

I don't think you understand this post. I have no trouble making a u-turn. I'm talking about the people I see here who are more worried about their cosmetics than their riding skills.

yep, and in way less then 24 ft. The secret is looking behind head tilted, covering the rear brake and or feathering the clutch
