I just want to open this one up and let you guys run with it.
I want to know what you guys want in a windshield.
So far we have been working to make the best possible shields but you guys can help us be even better.
So far we have the best prices, the best materials and the best design. But I think there is more to be said and many modes of thought about what makes a good windshield and so I would appreciate feedback on what you riders want to see.
Some things we are working on is a design for Road Kings and for the Road Glides in addition to our current line for the FLH bikes or the sg's and ultras.
I know there have been similar threads in the past, but I want to understand everyone's opinion.
I love the stock hieght on my Road Glide. but........ I hate the looks. I am not sure on how to improve on that and keep the same protection with sleaker looks and maybe a mild tint fading to a heavy tint at the bottom of the shield.
Something like a Clearview +1" for the 09 Road Glide, just as thick etc except with more of a flare at the top (more stylish) and gradient from light tint at the top gradiating to black at the bottom. Most after market shields are too thin and vibrate too easily. Clearview is the ticket but just doesn't have the looks. Marry those all together and you've got a winner.
Yeah, what Rodeo said. A Road Glide shield similar to the Clearview, but with a more pronounced flip at the top. Batwing owners have a ton of choices already from many vendors. Road Glide owners have a much more limited selection of FUNCTIONAL shields and have to pay a lot more for them.
Thanks for your interest
If you can make a windshield for a Road Glide that:
1) Looks good and not to tall (for a 5'-11" rider and up)
2) "Completely" eliminates the buffeting, "Completely I said"
then you will have more orders than you can keep up with!

I promice to buy a shield if you make one for the RG But put a bit o tint in it to..
I realize that there are not many around anymore, but it would be nice to offer a new shield for my Tour glide. Slipstreamer makes one, but I think they look like hell with the black across the bottom. Just a thought before I try to make one myself.
