they're the same but for the fairing, passenger footpegs, lowered an inch in the rear. of course there's a radio in the faring and guages too. there may be more, I'm sure someone will chime in. I don't think they have rear saddle bag guards

You own a Road King and don't know the difference between the two?? The basic difference is the batwing fairing and the FLHX comes lowered from the factory.

All the touring bikes are basically the same until the cosmetics are applied. Sort of like...uh, never mind.

SG has a fairing obviously and the stereo/speakers/instruments that come along with that.

SG is lowered just a bit.

SG does not have the auxilliary spot lamps in the front.

SG has no saddle bag guards - (an instant $700 if you drop the bike)

SG has some more customized trim and pedals/footboards and turn signal lights.

That's about it really, otherwise it's the same bike.

other main difference is the gas tank and console. All the "GLIDES" fuel in the center of the tank, whereas the road kings fuel on the right side of the tank with the left side containing the fuel guage.

Very true, But I'll tell you this much I just went from a RKC to a SG I like the SG much better. But my new SG has about 40 more ponies than my RKC did, I'm sure thats alot of the love there. But the Glide seem to have a much better feel about it.
