Toure glide
Last week I was at a small mountain town visitng . the old man was telling me about a old harley across the street with the owner in prison. I couldn't resist sneeking across the street .The plastic was roteing off It, looked like a old RG nope it's shovel head with 19 k miles with some rust on her from setting. Any thoughs on this cool find?

I had a 1981 shovelhead Tour Glide. It was the best bike I have ever had- I put an obscene number of miles on it with no problems whatsoever. You young guys who weren't around at the close of the AMF era don't know how much stake Harley put into the FLT. It was a huge hit at the time. It had an enclosed oil-bath chain drive and was the first rubber mounted Harley. I'll never forget roaring down to Winnemucca from Boise at 85 mph and actually being able to see clearly in my rearview mirrors.
I think the FLT was the first "modern" Harley. If I find another one, I am buying it. You best buy the one you found.
