OK, this is not a what muffler do I buy thread, just some info..
I don't like a overly loud motorcycle anymore ( getting old or wise?)
I had a set of the 06SE quite mufflers on the 07 EGC, worked well but a little too quite. Has RUSH in the past, too loud....so
I bought a set of the new SE 4" performance mufflers, took them to HD Bowling Green in KY and had the stock baffles removed and a set of cycle shack baffles installed ( cost= 99.00 for baffles, 74.00 install, had a 25% off coupon so baffles ending up 74.00)
bottom line, they sound SA-WEET!!!!...not to loud, low rumble...I like them, plus I added some fishtails on the rear ( going for the old school look).....
If your looking for a set of pipes that are not too loud but still sound like a Harley, look into this setup..
I have a set of the SE's I'll sell Ya right. I took them off for Fuelmoto jackpots. They sounded great I just wanted more volume. PM me I am in w. c. Ga.
Didn't mean to hijack your thread. I put Fuel moto jackpots on my Ultra and really like them. I went with the 2 inch right baffle for more volume. Louder than the S E's which is what I was looking for with a good deep tone.
Ok, help me out. How do stock "SE" compair to stock mufflers. Still looking to make a change on a '99 with a stock setup. This a good choice?
Sorry, I never ran them on the bike, took them new to dealer...but I did hear someone elses, barely louder than stock, he did this mod first and them I did...we both like the new setup.
