New Jacket
I just went and bought a heritage Jacket. The Nylon water proof armored unit.
My first ever jacket like that.
I have been looking at it for a year now.
There was a sale at a dealer today only so I went for it.

I see the suggested retail is $250 (ouch), what did you end up paying for it? It is a good looking jacket.

Up here in Canada I paid 235.00 canadian.
I was going to have it sent to me, but with customs wanting money when it gets sent up here and shipping it would have been alot more - even if I got it on e-bay at 225.00 American. And I didnt h ave to wait foor it.

That's the best damn jacket I've ever had.
Minor warning - Although it says "waterproof" - It's "quick splash" proof. It (specifically, the elbows, shoulders and such) won't take an extended downpour.
Otherwise - An amazingly well thought-out garment. Layers wonderfully well (I use mine as a winter jacket also. Easily handles negative F with a hoodie or something underneath).
