ORIGINAL: SCBGR

thanks guys ! Mac you ever done the MB thing ??? we ride up there all the time. I have extended floor boards, brake pedal and shifter (its a tall thing) still considering a radio but after 25 years of riding not sure a want a radio blasting i kinda like the sound of the wind. Ill post a pic sometime this week.
We go to Myrtle Beach every year for the week of July 4th. For the past 10 years, I have been on on the East Coast somewhere, so it was not such a big deal. From Yuma, it's going to be a bit of a haul, I'm basically on the southwestern boarder of AZ and California, right where they both meet Mexico.

I have not done this trip before. Kelly has already told me that she is not in the least bit interested in riding, so she is going to fly. That makes packing just a little bit easier. I can get away without the tour pack this time...I just dumped a bunch of money into a radio and XM receiver for the bike, so I need to save a little bit more if I'm going to get the tour pak...that means I won't be ordering it now...if it takes a while to get, I'll just have to make due with a T-bag or something. With Kelly flying, I can send stuff with her...I don't need much anyway...we're going to the Beach for crying out loud...a bathing suit, couple of t-shirts and some flip flops and I'm there!

They do still sell beer in Myrtle, right!?!

Mac
