Well, think of it this way - The rain is clensing a new day - You have your new ride - Go get wet and then spend all day cleaning her when you get back - A couple beers, some tunes - Sounds like a good way to bond -

It rained here too .. Its all your fault ..

 

I picked mine up on a beautiful day, the next day I went for a nice ride in the mountains, and got into a hail storm that dumped two inches of hail on the road. Followed a snow plow in, and stopped worrying about weather ever since!

 

On a 24 day 10,300 mile roundtrip donned raingear 18 of the 24 days. The bikes really do work in rain.

 

Just look at it as a christening ceremony. Let us know the name afterward.

Congrats on the new ride! I'd wait on clear weather though, for that first great ride. There will be other times for the rainy stuff.
