I want to give my road glide some more go go juice and im wondering what the most bang for the buck would be . I have a screamin eagle tuner ,filter and rineharts soo far. i also want to keep the reliability .... just wondering what you all think or have already done.

What kind of budget do you have? How much more 'go-go' do you want?

Do you want to stay MoCo or are would you consider 3rd party?

Me personally, I am very happy with my 103" with Stage III cams (SE-251). I got plenty of get up and go PLUS I get excellent fuel mileage (340 miles up in the mountains today and got 47.72 mpg for the day).

There are tons of options, depending on what you are after, how much you want to spend, etc.

There are several great options out there for BIG motors from reputable performance shops (HQ, T-Man, R&R, etc). Builds like 113/117/120/124 are all available and superior to anything from a dealership. Do some home work.

If you want an HD kit, stick with one of the 103 variations. Their 110 & 113 packages are anemic and grossly overpriced.

Properly spec'd, built, and tuned, and aftermaket package will be as or more reliable than what ya have now and will run like one should.

Budget is paramount. How much you got?
I am a cheapskate - so I am evaluating all options.
If you want OMFG! - I am gona die - get a supertcharger.
If you want real BANG - go 120+
If you want f'ing amazing - go 98 (Call Scotty at Hillside)
If you want just more umph - look at various 95" setups.

Of course if you want death on a stick - go 120+ with a supercharger and NOx - now that will get you into trouble

...gene

With the money and time you will invest to open up the bottom end to achieve 110, you will be easily within reach of a 117 build. I would be calling Scott up at Hillside, have seen quite a few come out of his shop landing in the 135/135 neighborhood.
If for some reason thats not enough, a 124 is also an option at that point.

There is NO substitute for cubin inches. If a mechanic told me different I'd find another mech. Builds are almost always based on budget vice what you really want performance wise. If that is the case, determine your amount and contact shops like Hillside, Tman, HeadQuartes, GMR, etc. and pick the package you want. The best choice I made when I built the custom bagger was go with a crate motor S&S T124" with S&S throttle body, S&S VFI, S&S breather, S&S closed loop O2...there is a trend here...all from the same source.

My .02...whatever you decide on I suggest you deal with ONE source, e.g. S&S, Hillside, etc...

Has anyone seen the company trask performance turbo . Turbo sounds like a good option for more power also .... its free hp turbos are known for not taking power to make power i just havent seen it done on too many bikes and im a little reluctant to be the test dummy. Money is not the issue I just want big power with little problems!! I know that sounds like an oxymoron because you usually sacrafice drivability for big power but so far im liking the cam idea not only would it free up some ponies but it would probably sound bad *** as well!! thanks and keep the ideas coming
