inner fairing replacement ??

Hello everyone has anyone replaced there inner fairing with a gloss painted one from the flat black fairing?? Have had the outer fairing of several times, updated light, new hog tunes , MP3 player install, so the outside comes off real easy but what about the inner??/ other than the clutch cable , and all the gauges how hard is it to replce ???

very time consuming but workable.... I did it - what I did was to buy a spare, get one off ebay cheap - have it painted then do it all in a day,,,, for me, had I taken mine off and had it painted - ****, I would have gotten the painted one on and had a half a can full of real important stuff,,,LOL...

I pulled mine and had it painted. I labeled all the connectors as I removed them, took pictures and wrote down the removal sequence. Went smoothly.

Did mine in metallic black, well worth the time and effort, a cool mod!

Is that the original inner fairing? That looks great. I was pricing an new with factory paint (black cheery), lots of $ if you get it from the factory.
