It is very easy to do. There are 3 torx bolts on the front at the base of the windshield.Just remove them and slide out the windshield. Just make shure you dont over tighten the bolts when you replace the windshield.

-Three screws out
-Remove old shield
-Put in new shield make sure it is lined up correctly
-Install center screw until barley snug
-Install left and right screws and tighten (do not over tighten)
-Tighten center center screw (do not over tighten)
-Ride on

I also use Loctite blue gel thread lock on the screws and they hold fast while being lightly snugged down.

Agree with Fastaire. Great customer service, product, and can't beat the price.

Never had a problem with a dab of antisieze on those screws. It never sets up or causes the inserts to spin in the fairing the way loctite will. Been there - done that.

Don't stop there.....
While your at it, get a little education about your ride.
Take the inner screws out also and take your outer fairing off.
Preety neat to see how stuff is STUFFED in there.
If you ever wanted to upgrade your speakers or swap out your air temp gauge
for an oil temp guage, you will need to remove your outer fairing.
You will soon realize that most maintenance jobs are pretty simple tasks.
When guys have their HD shop upgrade their ride with simple upgrades like swapping out a windshield.
They are the ones taken for a ride.
Get a HD Touring service manual.....
