IPOD Question

Who has an IPOD with a hard drive? I know that I saw someone on here say that you need to stay away from the hard drive and go with the flash memory due to vibration. I would prefer the hard drive due to the capacity, but I don't want to have it in the shop every other week getting repaired.

I have a 30gb video iPod with hard drive. I have it mounted on my Street Glide and have put about 2,000 miles on it with the iPod in use. It has "hung up" twice, which was probably caused by vibration or bumps, but it is easy to re-set and I haven't given it a 2nd thought. I love having my 1,000+ songs with me on the Street Glide. I hate commercials on FM radio and haven't gotten around to thinking about putting sat radio on it yet. For now, works fine for me.

I too have a 30GB Ipod that has gone 2k miles on my Ultra. Never had a problem. I have it velcroed right to the center console on the tank.

I have a 60 gig video mounted with a ram mount on my bars. I have had to reset it a few times but its not often. I take it with me everyday and love it...

Hate to beat the dead horse, but, Same here -- 30 gig video handlebar mounted, have to reset on occassion. I have had XM and I love the IPOD better even with having to reset.
