After reading about Dunlop Elite 3's I finally broke down and got them. It is not often that you totally agree with a thread, but I do. Put 400 miles on them and it was like a new ride. I am a HUGE Elite 3 fan.

What bike do you have, and what size rear tire did you get. I have an 08 Roadking and can't decide on which size will best fit.
nothin like the elite 3 tires. i've had my rear one on for several months, and no more butt wiggle when riding on rain grooves. hell with the stock d402, i'd pulled off the road a couple of times thinking that my rear tire was going flat, they were that bad on rain grooves. elite 3's rock. Sketz, mu85-16 rear, for the front mt 90-16, for the 08. perfect size. some claim that you can use the 160, but i have 1/8" clearance between the sidewall and the rear fender behind the right saddlebag, anything wider and the 160 is wider, would have not fit my 08. about as tight as you'd honestly want to go is the mu85-16 for the rear. wish i could wear out my d402 front so i could put on the mt90-16 elite 3 up there too.
I just got my elite 3 tires put on last week and it rides like a whole new bike. No more wiggling on tar snakes or following grooves in the road. If I can get more than 8 to 9 thousand miles on a back tire all will be good. I have a 05 ultra with 64,000 miles and my tires I ordered from Jake Wilson were MT90B-16 front and MU90B-16 rear.

Thank you Jim, that's good information, I've heard that some have installed the 160, but looking at the stock rear tire fit on my RK, I was really wondering how that was possible without causing some problems. I'll be looking for the Mu85-16 just to be safe.

I along with many other have installed the Dunlop Elite III's, with no problems with fitment. MT90HB16 front for stock 3.00 rim. MU90HB16 rear for stock 3.00 rim. Some have even installed the 160/80/16 on the rear. Dunlop recommends this tire be used on a 3.50 rim. For more in that, take a look at this thread.
