Default New seat needed input needed

Hey guys,

I have a 09 road glide that I ride most of the time with the wife. The problem is we rented an 06 utlra classic before I bought my bike and she said that on the ultra she could see better over my head when we ride. For her comfort I put a full size tour pack on my bike.

Which Harley Davidson seat can I get that will maybe put me lower and her higher? Your advice and experience with your recomendation would be great.

Not sure about the '09's....
I bought the U/C seat off an '08 and had Mean City Cycle do
their magic.....it lowered me and moved me back away from
the tank.
I also had them put 2 layers of memory foam on the passenger section,
this allows my wife to look over my head and shoulders not around them.

Maybe Alan and his crew can do their magic on your stock seat......
He's only a phone call away.

I don't think there is much modding that could be done to a stock RG seat in this aspect. There is not as much of a defined bucket as you can see in my sig pic. Not much room to go down in the front and from what MCC told me they can't really build up the passenger that substantially or the cover will not go back on right.

He would be better off going with a stock Ultra seat or maybe a Sundowner.

Sundowner or Mustang Touring will have the nice height on the rear...MCC can fix you seat to what you ask. If you can find one already made and sit on it then that would be the heat..Go to the dealer and ask them to put a Sundowner on it and both sit on it...You should be able to tell pretty much within 5-15 minutes...The sundowner is the best seat HD makes. I did not make this up...MCC did. and so did many others that have the seat. If i knew then what i know now i would 've got the Sundowner instead of the Mustang but it was free.

I have a Sundowner seat for an '09 Road Glide for sale. Less that 1000 miles on it, like new in the factory box with wrapping. New is $299, will sell for $225 if you are interested.
